My favorite part about being a Vertex Patient Educator is:
Knowing that the work we are doing allows Warriors, caregivers, and community leaders to know more about sickle cell disease, beta thalassemia, and the advances in cell and gene therapy. I am proud to share that there are companies like Vertex that truly seek to keep the patient first.
My favorite thing about living in Atlanta is:
We love the culture, the sports, and the energy of Atlanta while also feeling like we are part of our local community just north of the city.
My favorite part about being a Vertex Patient Educator is:
Being able to work with patients again and helping them learn about their disease state and treatment journey through the excellence of Vertex.
My favorite thing about living in Houston is:
The people and the food! Houston is culturally diverse, and I feel like I’ve traveled the world from my own backyard. The wonderful friendships and connections I have made and the unique homemade food dishes I’ve experienced with other Houstonians are unmatched!
My favorite food is:
Tex-Mex.
My hobbies are:
Solo traveling, staying active, and exploring new fusion food spots.
If I could have a superpower, it would be:
Omnilingualism. My international travel would be limitless if I had the ability to speak and understand any and all languages.

Having the privilege to engage with those affected by sickle cell disease (SCD) or beta thalassemia within the community, and be an educational resource while actively listening and learning about community needs.
My favorite thing about living in New York City is:
The unpredictability! It’s really fun being able to walk outside without a plan and finding so many cool activities to do, great places to eat, and interesting people to meet.
My favorite food is:
Sushi and Caribbean food (it’s a solid tie). As a proud Haitian, I love all West Indian cuisine!
My hobbies are:
Traveling, trying out new restaurants, and event planning for myself, friends, family, etc.
If I could have a superpower, it would be:
The ability to time travel. I’d go back in time and spend more time with loved ones who are no longer here with me.
